When should I use WeatherX earplugs?
We recommend you wear your earplugs prior to a forecasted shift in pressure;. Many users also use WeatherX at the first sign of symptoms. Note that this ideal usage may differ from user to user.
What materials are WeatherX earplugs made from?
WeatherX earplugs are made of soft, cleanable, hypoallergenic silicone. Inside the silicone is a micro-ceramic inner filter.
How do WeatherX earplugs fit?
WeatherX is designed to fit comfortably for adults. A smaller size is also available. Our recommendation is for the earplugs to have a snug fit, when inserted in your ear. What is the noise reduction rating of WeatherX earplugs?
WeatherX earplugs have a 20 dB noise reduction rating.
How long should I wear a pair of WeatherX earplugs before replacing?
For optimal performance, use one pair of WeatherX over a two-week period.

Why do I need to replace earplugs every 2 weeks?
To ensure the performance of your earplugs, we recommend replacement every 2-weeks (or sooner). Once WeatherX is removed from the foil the ceramic filter becomes exposed to particles that will impact the filter’s performance.
How many pairs come with each subscription?
For the 6-month subscription, you are sent 15 pairs. That’s 1 pair for every 2 weeks, plus 2 extra pairs. Those extra pairs are if you want to replace them sooner or you lose an earplug - or two 🙂
For the 12-month subscription, you are sent 30 pairs. That’s 1 pair for every 2 weeks, plus 4 extra pairs.
What are the premium app features I get with a product subscription?
On the WeatherX app is a section called WeatherX+. This contains a migraine log function, to help track your migraines. Over time, the app will help reveal trends (based on the information from your migraine logs) associated with barometric pressure change.
How do I buy a product subscription?
Subscription orders are placed exclusively through our parent company, CirrusHealthcare.com. Select your size (Regular or for Smaller Ears, variant (Low Profile or Standard), and frequency of shipment (6 months or 12 months).
What else comes in the subscription box?
A WeatherX-branded cotton bag, for convenient storage of your earplugs. A keychain earplug case, for a pair to use on-the-go.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You may cancel your WeatherX+ subscription anytime within your account on CirrusHealthcare.com, our parent company.
When will I receive access to WeatherX+ features once I place my order?
When your receive your physical order, there will be a postcard with a 6-digit code within within your subscriber box. To activate WeatherX+ features, input your 6-digit code within the WeatherX+ tab of the WeatherX app.

Where do I find alerts in the WeatherX app?
Your current alerts will populate on the WeatherX app’s home tab. For more information on upcoming (and past) barometric data, select thtab. Alerts should also be sent to your phone via push notification at a specific time, as set in your tab under the Notifications heading.
I just received an alert in the app, when do I put in my WeatherX earplugs?
Be sure to insert your earplugs before the shift in pressure - this information can be found in the app's datasection.
Keep in mind that every migraine sufferer can have a different approach on when to insert WeatherX earplugs. Some put them in hours ahead of any shift, while others put them in right before the shift starts. We recommend that you keep a migraine diary of your approach; that way, you can narrow down which approach best helps you minimize the effects of a weather change.
How do I gain access to the WeatherX+ migraine log feature?
WeatherX+ migraine log feature is available exclusively to WeatherX+ subscriptions. Even if you cancel your subscription, will have ongoing access to the WeatherX+ features within the WeatherX app.
